Halloween Events In NWA and the River Valley

The list below shows free, community Halloween events taking place in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley this year.

Thursday, Oct. 28

Drive-Thru Fall Fest, 5:30 p.m. in Siloam Springs

Friendship Pediatric, a preschool for children with special needs, will host the festival with fall games, food, candy, prizes and photo ops all from the safety of the participants' vehicles. Additional details at 479-524-2456.

Drive-In Double Feature, 6 p.m. in Fayetteville

NWACC is sponsoring a free family movie night at the 112 Drive-In in Fayetteville. Gremlins and Beetlejuice will be shown in a double-feature. There will also be a costume contest and giveaways. Community members and students are asked to register ahead of time to reserve a spot.

Free Spooky Spectacular Family Movie Night

Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) and its student-run Student Ambassadors Government Association (SAGA) is sponsoring a free Spooky Spectacular Family Movie Night at the 112 Drive-In outdoor theater. The evening will be filled with a double feature of Gremlins and Beetlejuice, a costume contest, giveaways and chances to win prizes. Students and community members are asked to register to reserve a spot for their vehicle at the theater. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the first movie starts at 7 p.m. You can find more information or register for the event here. Only one registration is required per car, not per person.

Friday, Oct. 29

Costumes, Candy and Cops Carnival, 6 p.m. in Benton County

The Benton County Fair Grounds will be home to a fall carnival hosted by the Benton County Sheriff's Office. Participants stay in their vehicles while taking part in a fun trunk-or-treat drive-through. More information on the Facebook Event Page.

Walmart Spooky StreetatPleasant Crossing Walmart in Rogers

Celebrate the Halloween season at Walmart with a hauntingly fun stroll down Spooky Street. Enjoy sweet treats, frights that delight, and a ghoulishly good time for the whole family.More information is located here.

Saturday, Oct. 30

Trunk or Treat, 4 p.m. in Fort Smith

VIEWS will host Trunk or Treat at the Stephens Boys and Girls Club. There will be candy, games, a costume contest and local vendors. More information on Facebook.

City of Gravette Trick-or-Treat Main Street

The City of Gravette will be doing a Trick-Or-Treat on Main Street on October 30 from 4-7 p.m.The city also encourages residents to participate in door-to-door trick-or-treating on October 30 as well.

Trick-or-Treat Main Street, 4 p.m. in Gravette

Gravette will host trick-or-treating on Main Street from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. It is also encouraging people who live in Gravette to trick-or-treat on Saturday instead of on Halloween. More information on Facebook.

Halloween Fest, 4 p.m. in Springdale

Springdale Police are hosting a family-friendly Halloween event with free candy, carnival games, a pumpkin toss, touch-a-truck, and more on Shiloh Square. More information on Facebook.

Tontitown Hollywood Trick-or-Treat In the Park

Trick or Treat in the Park will be on October 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.at Harry Sbanotto Park. There will be free food, candy, pumpkins, prizes, and much more. This is an event for kids of all ages, even the grown ones. So find your best Hollywood character costume and come make a “celebrity” appearance at the park. Prizes for the best costumes will be awarded.

Fright Night Fling

Fright Night Fling will be at 100 S. 4th St. in Fort Smith will feature costume contests, a haunted house, trunk-or-treat and food for the whole family. The event takes place from 5:00 to 8:00 in the evening on Saturday, Oct. 30.

Sunday, Oct. 31

Halloween Bash, 5 p.m. in Farmington

The Farmington Fire Department will host trick or treating and fire safety at the station on Main Street from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be candy and fire trucks.

Trick Art Treat

Trick Art Treat at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art on October 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.Registration is required for the event. Have a ghoulishly good time trick-or-treating, eating candy, and capturing your genius costumes at the photo booth. Music, live performances, and take-home art kits for everyone—dressed up or not—to enjoy.
