Listen to Modest Mouse on iHeartRadio

Modest Mouse still haven't announced plans for a new album, but that isn't stopping them from hitting the road.  The indie rockers have unveiled plans to embark on a month-long U.S. tour in May.

The outing starts with a two-night stand in Portland, Oregon on May 1st and 2nd, and includes a number of festival stops.  They'll play the Shaky Knees fest in Atlanta and the Hangout fest in Alabama before wrapping things up with Boston Calling on May 25th.

Meanwhile, there's still no word on when the band's follow-up to their 2007 album We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank will be released.  Work on the record has supposedly been going on for a while now, and included a session with Outkast rapper Big Boi last fall.
